Plantapalooza, the city's biggest plant festival, will transform Brisbane Markets into every plant-lover’s dream of lush greenery, blooming flowers and garden accessories at the Saturday Fresh Market on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

Bigger (and greener) than ever, the event will feature thousands of indoor and outdoor plants, succulents and terrariums, plus pots, outdoor accessories and market stalls overflowing with fresh produce and deli treats.

For those keen to dig in, there’ll be live demos from horticulture experts, hands-on potting sessions, reptile shows and heaps of family fun (face painting, seedling workshops, jumping castle).

Whether you’re a proud plant parent or a serial succulent killer, this is your chance to stock up, skill up and soak up Brisbane’s biggest celebration of all things green.
