Queensland’s biggest Celtic festival, CelticFest Warwick 2025, is being held at the Warwick Showgrounds on Saturday 4 October and Sunday 5 October (King's Birthday weekend), and everyone's invited to come along and #GetYourCountryCelticOn!

Caber Toss at CelticFest Warwick

Running across two days, with music on two stages – the Main Stage and the Meadows tent - on Saturday and Sunday, CelticFest again hosts the Australian Highland Games Championships. Main events to cheer on are Weight over the Bar, Putting the Stone, Hammer Throw, and everyone’s favourite, the Caber Toss.

Other CelticFest highlights include highland cows from Keans Agri Leyburn Highland Stud (talks, pats and photos), Medieval Arena (including knights in combat), Celtic-themed workshops, pipe band and dancing displays, camp-drafting and Australian Light Horse displays, Celtic-themed markets, and Celtic-inspired bar and food.

The Gathering CelticFest Warwick

Come for the weekend, the day, or just come for CelticFest Party Night on Saturday night, when The Gathering Irish band headlines the Main Stage, and Darling Downs Irish Club hosts a Celtic bush dance in the Doug Feez Pavilion.

And that's not all! CelticFringe events are on offer from Friday 3 October, so CelticFest patrons have a good excuse to stay the whole weekend to immerse themselves in the Celtic in the Country experience!
