This Melbourne Cup Day, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane comes alive with colour, bubbles, and dazzling entertainment. From a dazzling ballroom celebration at The Star Brisbane Event Centre, to an elegant Japanese feast at Sokyo, and refined Italian comfort at Cucina Regina - Melbourne Cup Day promises a suite of unforgettable experiences on Tuesday, 4 November.

For those ready to revel in the glamour and dance the afternoon away, the Event Centre will transform into an elegant party playground. Headlining the celebration is Australian multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and beloved host of Australian Idol and Nova’s #1 National Drive Show, RICKI-LEE, performing exclusively for guests.

The beloved Queensland music icon is thrilled to be back in Brisbane, performing for a fabulous crowd on Cup Day.

Expect an unforgettable day at Event Centre with chilled seafood platters on arrival, a decadent three-course plated menu, starting with the options of Seared Tuna or Smoked Duck Breast, into Chicken Breast on a bed of Prosciutto, Potato Cocotte, and Mushroom Fricassee or a succulent Beef Sirloin with all the trimmings, finished with an assortment of boutique desserts, plus three-and-a-half-hours of premium Veuve Clicquot, wine and beer.

Hosted by TV Personality David Whitehill, the festivities will be nothing short of entertaining with Fashions off the Field prizes and of course, exclusive entertainment by RICKI-LEE.

Tantalise the tastebuds with curated flavours as Sokyo’s decorated Executive Chef Alex Yu invites guests to experience a five-course culinary journey; from Chef’s iconic Sashimi Platter and Pumpkin tempura to Sokyo’s Miso Glazed Toothfish and Wagyu Striploin with sides before the Caramel macchiato dessert steals the show. Complimenting the exquisite five-course shared banquet, guests can cheer to three-hours of Veuve Clicquot, wine, and beer, plus Fashions off the Field, carrying the celebrations in style.

Effortless fun can also be found at Cucina Regina, which will be playing host to an afternoon of relaxed Italian indulgence, with four courses of comforting yet elevated Italian delights including classic Focaccia and a mix of Antipasti to Prawn Fettucine, Gnocchi, and Porchetta with sides and a sweet Lemon Cannoli dessert paired with three hours of Chandon Spritz, wine, and beer.
