Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is a breathtaking light trail through the awe-inspiring woods of Sirromet Winery in Mt Cotton until September 7, 2025. 

Following successful runs in the US, the UK, France and Melbourne, this is Brisbane's turn to experience this incredible immersive event.

Inspired by the iconic Forbidden Forest and featuring creatures from the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ series, mesmerising lights have transformed the landscape into a magical outdoor trail.

Visitors can discover some of their favourite moments from the Forbidden Forest, encounter mystical creatures such as Hippogriffs, unicorns, and Nifflers, and practice casting their very own spells.

Making their Australian debut in the Brisbane iteration is a selection of exciting new elements and features including a chronologically coordinated trail with characters and scenes appearing in the same order as they do in the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ series’; and new character additions such as Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, and the beloved ‘Fang’.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is for the whole family and promises a wonderful time for fans of all ages, giving them the opportunity to experience the magic of the Harry Potter films in a whole new way.

Visitors will also find a themed village at the end of the trail where they can enjoy delicious food and drink, as well as a gift shop with merchandise from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. An unforgettable evening lies ahead!
