The official Queensland launch of Quentin Bryce: The Authorised Biography will be a rare opportunity to hear from Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO, in conversation with the Honourable Anna Bligh AC on Wednesday, October 22 at Brisbane Powerhouse.

Australia’s first female Governor-General and former Governor of Queensland, Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO and Queensland’s first female Premier, the Honourable Anna Bligh AC will reflect on growing up in the Sunshine State, the impact of feminism, and the power of enduring friendship. 

Juliet Rieden

You’ll also hear from author Juliet Rieden, who will share insights into researching and writing Dame Quentin’s remarkable life story.

The event will also feature a special guest performance by multi-ARIA award-winning artist Katie Noonan, followed by a book signing with Dame Quentin and will be moderated by journalist and Director of The Squiz, Bryce Corbett.
