Comedy Open Mic Night

Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct

Updated: Sep 26, 2025

Think you’ve got what it takes to make a crowd laugh? Or just love a good night out filled with unexpected punchlines and rising talent? Then come along to Comedy Open Mic Night at the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct on Friday, October 24.

The final Comedy Open Mic Night for 2025 will see one budding comedian selected to perform with professional comedians at the main stage event Comedy@The Butter Factory in November.

Headshot or Rachael Hornbuckle

Host for the night is the brilliant Rachael Hornbuckle, one of Australia’s most exciting new comedy voices. Her demure delivery hides razor-sharp wit and darkly hilarious punchlines that’ll catch you off guard—in the best way.

Whether you’re a seasoned jokester or just curious is your chance to take the mic and test your comedy chops. Or to come along for good vibes and big laughs whilst supporting emerging comedians in a fun, comfortable atmosphere!

Good to know - Aspiring comedians are invited to email entertainment@logan.qld.gov.au to register your interest.

Need to know - Open Mic Night is held in the mezzanine level of Kingston Butter Factory. Tickets are just $10 and include a house wine, beer or soft drink.
