Best Things to Do In Stones Corner

Stones Corner has had many incarnations over the years, from its origin as Burnett’s Swamp to the birthplace of Stones Ginger Beer (which was once sold on the corner here), from which it acquired its name.

By mid last century it was a fashionable shopping hub with Finney Isles and Co department store and the Alhambra picture theatre, after which decades followed as a factory outlet destination. Today, with most of the discount retail moved on, it’s reinvented itself as a funky alternative eats and drinks precinct with some interesting boutiques and shops in the mix.
