The inner western suburb of Toowong is a neighbourhood that is steeped in history, flanked by two of Brisbane's iconic historic hotels on one side and the city's oldest cemetery on the other. Whilst most of the shopping and dining activity surrounds the transport hub of Toowong Village, tucked away off the main thoroughfares are leafy parks, charming cafes, a secret rooftop bar, one of Brisbane's oldest suburban restaurants, a basement speakeasy bar and artisan bakeries.
