Logan Central Markets

Logan Central

LOGAN CENTRAL MARKETS HAVE CLOSED PERMANENTLY IN APRIL 2019.

Logan Central Markets is a weekly bonanza of food, flowers, fashion, fresh produce and a whole lot more, in Wembley Rd, Logan Central.

Held every Sunday from 6am to 12pm, these colourful, family-friendly markets attract an ever-changing selection of stallholders selling a diverse range of wares.

Logan Central Markets

There’s plenty of bargains to be had, whether you’re into ladies’ fashion, jewellery, children’s clothing and accessories, handbags, hats, bikes, plants, flowers, formal shoes, lawnmowers, or even workwear.

Logan Central Markets

True bargain hunters will enjoy sifting through the various stands selling pre-loved bric-a-brac, where you could find just about anything (including, quite possibly, the kitchen sink).

Logan Central Markets

The food on offer generally reflects the multicultural nature of the area, and includes Cook Island donuts, ice cream by the scoop, fairy floss and the ever-popular Grandma’s Kiwi Kitchen.

Logan Central Markets

Now that Grandma’s Kiwi Kitchen has closed the doors of its Springwood cafe, the markets are the only place you can sample their delicious – and iconic in these parts – New Zealand fare.

Logan Central Markets

It wouldn’t be a market either without Dutch pancakes, Merlo coffee, icy cold drinks and plentiful shaded tables to pause and enjoy your goodies.

Nice to know – Stallholders can change from week to week, so make sure you check the markets’ Facebook page if you’re set on visiting a particular vendor.

Need to know – Entry to the markets is $1 per person over 13 years. Free, off-road parking is available right out the front.
