Following last year’s sell-out performance, the critically acclaimed Ballet International Gala (BIG) returns to QPAC for one-night-only on August 7, 2024, and this time, with members of the Paris Opera Ballet, Royal Ballet and more!

With BIG names such as Bianca Scudamore (Paris Opera Star), Nicoletta Manni (Teatro alla Scala Principal), Timofej Andrijashenko (Teatro alla Scala Principal), Marcus Morelli (Australian Ballet Principal), Maria Khoreva (Mariinsky Principal) and many more to come - Ballet International Gala V is simply ballet at its best.

The artists will be performing pieces from fan favourites such as White Swan, Don Quixote, Corsaire, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Grande Pas Classique and more.

BIG V will conclude with its signature all-star finale, which will see each artist compete with one another by showcasing their most impressive solo performances. In a captivating final wave off to the international artists, the exhilarating finale will close out with an amazing Rock n’ Roll act performed by talented Australian musicians that will highlight the excitement and power of these international ballet superstars!

Since making its debut in 2022, BIG has attracted ballet’s biggest-ever names to perform across Australia, including principal artists from The Royal Ballet, Teatro alla Scala, Bolshoi Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Staatsballett Berlin, the Australian Ballet and more.

BIG’s bite-sized ballet offerings have attracted a new wave of ballet lovers, making the art form more accessible and enjoyable for generations to come.
