Little Italy

Red Hill

LITTLE ITALY HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED AS OF APRIL 2022.

A tiny slice of Italy has popped up in Red Hill with the arrival of Little Italy, a charming al fresco cafe offering breakfast, lunch and delicious sweet treats.

Located at the Red Hill Community Sports Club, a stone's throw away from Bronco's HQ, this cute cafe provides plenty of undercover, outdoor dining overlooking the club's bowling green.

Breakfast fare on offer ranges from a smashed avo and ricotta ciabatta, and Italian breakfast panini (bacon, eggs, fresh tomato and mozzarella) to omelettes such as the Milano (Italian ham and tomato) and Verona (eggplant, zucchini, roasted peppers and red onion); while the highly-recommended Gladiator's Breakfast features your choice of omelette served with a side of smokey bacon,  avo and ricotta smash, Italian tomatoes and toasted ciabatta.

Lunch options include a tasty selection of Italian panini filled with delicious cheeses, cured meats and more, like The Italian Stallion (salami, sun-dried tomato, artichoke and Swiss cheese), The Sicilian (hot salami, anchovies, fresh chilli and olives), and The Godfather Ultimate Deli (pastrami, prosciutto, salami, Swiss cheese, fresh tomato, garlic aioli and dijon mustard on a long baguette).

Sweets tooths can indulge in house-made treats such as delectable cannoli (Sicilian, vanilla or chocolate), tiramisu, triple chocolate fudge brownies and caramel slice, accompanied by a well-brewed cup of coffee (roasted on the Sunshine Coast by boutique coffee outfit, Freehand Coffee Roasters).

Besides coffee, there are Origin loose leaf teas, hot chocolate, chai, milkshakes, smoothies and cold press juices.

Nice to know - Treats on offer include gluten-free and vegan-friendly cakes and slices.
