The Maritime Cafe

The Maritime is a tiny al fresco cafe in prime riverfront position at the Queensland Maritime Museum, South Brisbane.

One of Brisbane's best kept secrets, here's the place to sit outside on the water amongst cannons and maritime-themed exhibits and enjoy a coffee and snack.

Customers can pull up a seat undercover adjacent to one of the Maritime Museum huts or outside overlooking the river on a picnic table or drum seating, adjacent to the cannons. 

The concise no-frills brekkie menu consists of toasties, bacon and egg Turkish roll or ham & cheese croissant or sweet treats like house-baked muffin, chocolate brownie or mini sweet loaf.

For drinks, there's barista-made coffee, Emma and Tom juice, bottles of water of a small selection of soft drinks.

Good to know - Under the umbrella of The Maritime events and functions venue, The Maritime operates as a cafe in the morning from Thursday to Sunday. Otherwise it's an awesome and unique spot for a celebration or function.
