Chouquette Boulangerie Patisserie
Graceville
CHOUQUETTE IN GRACEVILLE HAS CLOSED PERMANENTLY BUT YOU CAN STILL VISIT THEM IN NEW FARM.
One of Brisbane's favourite French bakeries, Chouquette Boulangerie Patisserie, has opened a new shop in the leafy suburb of Graceville.
Nestled on Honour Avenue, this little slice of France is already proving popular, with locals queueing daily for Chouquette's authentic buttery croissants, glorious gateaux and artisan breads.
Inside the petite patisserie, furnished with a few tables for those who wish to dine in, a display case is filled with a delectable selection of French treats; from chocolate eclairs and chouquettes, millefeuilles and macarons, canneles and classic tarts - think fresh strawberry and zesty lemon meringue - plus petits fours (miniature versions of eclairs, fruit tarts and more).
Meanwhile, savoury lovers can choose from sausage rolls, pies, quiches and gougeres (choux pastry puffs filled with gruyère cheese).
In addition, there's an array of freshly-baked artisanal breads including rustic sourdough, olive loaves and brioche buns.
