Daisy Hill to Underwood Park

Walk/Cycle route

Updated: Aug 27, 2023

Linking two of the region’s premier outdoor attractions, The Daisy Hill Conservation Park to Underwood Park pathway is the perfect destination for a family walk or bike ride.

With the exception of a few easy road crossings (at Exilis St, Parkwood St and Underwood Rd), the almost four-kilometre stretch of path remains purely off road as it winds its way through the leafy Logan suburbs of Springwood, Rochedale South and Priestdale.

Along the way you’ll pass through some lovely pockets of forest (keep an eye out for wallabies!), past hidden streams (home to a healthy population of water dragons), and plenty of green, open spaces. Three playgrounds can be found on the route, plus exercise equipment and a basketball court.

Roughly halfway through the journey, the path runs behind the Parfrey Road shops. At one end you’ll find the magnificent Underwood Park, boasting an off-leash dog park, children’s playgrounds, duck pond, skate park, and plenty of open space for picnics.

Those heading in the other direction will arrive at the Daisy Hill Conservation Park – home to many walking and cycling tracks, a large picnic area, plus the Daisy Hill Koala Centre.

Nice to know – The route is dog friendly, and several bins can be found along the way for disposing of doggy waste.

Need to know – The best place to access this path is at Underwood Park (park either along Underwood Rd or in the car park near FUNderwood Hollow playground) or the Dennis Road entrance of Daisy Hill Conservation Park. You’ll find plenty of parking at both ends.
