Flora by Greenhouse is a plant-based café in West End serving delicious vegan eats along with top-notch organic Allpress Espresso.
Found on Boundary Street, Flora is a sibling for South Brisbane’s (and the Gold Coast’s) Greenhouse Canteen.
The divine décor features a gorgeous green velvet lounge surrounded by blonde timber tables and lush plants.
Flora’s all day menu features a variety of plant-based breakfast fare from waffle stacks served with rice paper bacon, hash brown, seasonal fruit and ice-cream to mushroom benedict (creamy mushrooms on English muffin with sautéed kale, avocado and cauliflower hollandaise) and the café’s popular Bruffin – tofu egg, rice paper bacon, cashew brie and spinach served on an English muffin.
Lunch-type offerings include a meatless ball sub with house made veggie balls, Mexican meat-free nachos and zucchini pesto pasta with sundried tomatoes, black olives and fresh greens topped with cashew parmesan cheese. There’s also a grab-and-go selection of tasty salads and sandwiches.
Coffee is made with your choice of soy, almond, coconut or macadamia milk. Otherwise, there are Mayde organic loose-leaf teas, Sacred Taste cacao, kombucha and cold pressed juices.
