Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct

Last updated: May 18, 2025

TAXIRIDE ft TTSAR live are coming to the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct for one night on Friday, May 30 for a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed!

Born in the leafy suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, TAXIRIDE ft. Tim Watson, Tim Wild, Sean McLeod, Andy McIvor, and Ripley Smith blend retro sensibility with modern style, drawing inspiration from ’60s bands like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and The Beatles.

Crafted over two years in Melbourne and Los Angeles, their debut album ‘Imaginate’ debuted at Number 1 on the Australian Music Charts. It launched 4 singles including the memorable ‘Get Set’ (written by Tim Wild) and ‘Everywhere You Go’ (the most-played Australian song on radio for 2000 - written by Tim Wild and Tim Watson).

The second album ‘Garage Mahal’ contained their biggest hit ‘Creepin’ Up Slowly’ (written by Brain, Young and Taxiride) which was the most-played song on radio for 2002 and featured a further two hit singles. Having achieved Top 30 status in the States, they subsequently toured the US, Japan and Europe. Then, after a 10-year hiatus Taxiride reformed in 2015 with a limited run of shows. And now Taxiride ft TTSAR returns in 2025 with new live shows featuring faithful renditions of their hits plus their favourite album tracks.
