Hills District All Abilities Playground
Arana Hills
Hills District All Abilities Playground in Leslie Patrick Park, Arana Hills, is a fun, imaginative park and playground dedicated to all things bees and honey - a creative and welcoming space suitable for all ages and abilities.
From the sensory garden filled with fragrant herbs and flowers to the interactive music zone, there really is something to keep everyone entertained here.
The unmistakable theme for the park is bees and honey, with educational signs depicting the life cycle of the bee, the anatomy of the bee, different types of native bees and why bees are so important to our local eco-system.
Visitors can sit inside a model bee hive or attempt the honeycomb-inspired climbing wall. There are imaginative carvings, sculptures and stencils dotted throughout the park, which is fully fenced and wheel chair accessible.
Need to know - Parking is available onsite at Leslie Patrick Park - access via Olearia Street West.
