Battye Park
Brassall
On the corner of Pine Mountain Road and Hunter Street, Brassall, you cannot miss the playground at Battye Park. The wizards will magically guide you down the footpath, over the hopscotch and into a brightly coloured, polka dot covered playground with play equipment perfect for big and little kids.

The hot Queensland sun can sometimes be a deal breaker when it comes to visiting a park in summer, but at Battye Park, the playground is completely covered with flag topped sun shades making playtime much more enjoyable. Why not enjoy a family picnic or even celebrate a birthday at the park? There are plenty of covered picnic tables, well kept barbeques and public toilets with baby change facilities.

There’s plenty of open space here too, perfect to kick the soccer ball around or play a game of footy. And if you have a furry friend that needs to expend some energy too, there’s a dog off leash area right near the playground.

So when you’re in Ipswich, why not take a short drive out of the city into Brassall where the swings and slides, spring rockers and climbing nets await energy filled kids.
