Cutting through Brisbane's suburbs are these green belts - a fantastic network of secret pathways that run alongside creeks, pass through parklands, and inter-connecting suburbs. Good for both walks and off-road bike rides, they are a great and cool way to see another side of the suburbs.

Carindale To Minnippi

Mitchelton To Alderley

This path of approx 8km return meanders alongside Kedron Brook via what used to be farmlands

Annerley To Stones Corner

Whilst this 4km return ride is low on scenery it is nonetheless a flat and safe pathway interspersed with a couple of inviting playgrounds and easily doable by younger children or less experienced riders.

Kedron Brook

This is a family friendly jaunt of around 25km return through foreign landscapes that can be enjoyed by one and all regardless of biking prowess

Northey St Farm

This 4km return creek side jaunt follows a shady flat paved path to Northey St City Farm

Red Hill To Newmarket

This 6-7km return trail cuts a green swathe through the inner west and north, taking in wooded glades, parklands

Sheep Station Gully

This short shaded walk of roughly 2.5 km return cuts a swathe through and alongside a secret forest

Creekside Park Walk

Creekside Park is at the heart of a pleasant and serene 1-hour green belt walk connecting the back streets of Kenmore to Brookfield, and one that is a bit of a local’s secret
