Wild Legs Wine Room
Newstead
Wild Legs Wine Room is a chic little Euro style wine bar with an outstanding food menu, tucked away on a side street of Newstead.

From the savvy owners of Adela Wine Bar in Albion, Wild Legs Wine Room is a hit with locals (and their dogs) who keep coming back for the quality drinks, wine and service.

Patrons can take a seat on the footpath, where there's also room for prams and dogs or in the cosy interior where there's a smattering of seats surrounded by wine walls.

As well as the approximately 80 Australian and international wines on offer, there's also a small selection of bespoke cocktails, along with juices and soft drinks.

Be sure to bring an appetite because the Medierranean-flavoured food menu, which perfectly complements the drinks, is first class, starting with the likes of house made focaccia with whipped butter, freshly shucked oysters with Wild Legs mignonette; and duck liver parfait (must-try).

A popular dish is the heavenly mortadella brioche bun; and the house pickle plate with fermented garlic & basil oli; whilst the house made dip and chips also hits the spot.

Another must-try is the cheese souffle with onion jam; and the lamb merguez with labneh and fermented hot sauce; otherwise there's a charcuterie selection or artisan cheese board with preserves and crackers.

Good to know - Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the footpath.
Need to know - There's metered parking on nearby streets.
