Monty’s Bakehouse

West End

MONTY'S BAKEHOUSE HAS CLOSED.

Monty’s Bakehouse, located within West End's Light & Co apartment block, is bringing delicious baked goods, European style breaky, specialty coffee and even craft beer and wine to lucky locals.

The expansive venue features alfresco dining and a large takeaway counter, abundant with freshly baked goods and sweet treats. There is large and small tables, as well as bar seating for those looking for a more casual setting. With the coffee counter at one end and the bar at the other, Monty’s Bakehouse has every one’s dining needs in mind.

The cafe offers breakfast and lunch, as well as coffee and cake. If dining for breakfast (which is served until 2pm), Monty’s produces a delectable breakfast bruschetta, featuring thick cut bacon, parmesan, tomato salsa, rocket pistou and poached eggs, served on grilled sourdough.

If you’re dining for your daily caffeine hit, accompany your coffee with one of their cabinet treats. Their humungous meringues are certainly a must do, along with their mini banoffee or cardomom and strawberry tarts.

Monty’s Bakehouse has all their cabinet treats available for takeaway, including a range of freshly baked bread loafs. Their rye and miso loaf is certainly one to try.

To quench the thirst, naturally coffee is on the menu as well as a range of teas, smoothies and juices. Lunch time diners rejoice, there is an expansive craft beer and wine menu to order from.

Need to know – there is limited guest parking available nearby.

Nice to know – there is a large kid’s menu available for the little ones which is inclusive of their favourite drinks, such as an iced milo.
