ARTISAN HAS MOVED FROM ITS FORTITUDE VALLEY LOCATION TO 45 KING ST BOWEN HILLS.

Art and shopping collide at this splendid gallery shop that showcases the best of artisan design and crafts from around Australia.

A non-profit initiative funded by the State and Federal Government, Artisan provides a space for exhibitions bringing together designers and artists as diverse as furniture maker Jon Goulder, industrial artist Jason Bird, chocolate sculptor Sally Colpoys and robotics crafter Kirsty Boyle.

The shop meanwhile is the place to buy one–off unique designs, be it homewares, jewellery, clothes, textiles, ceramics or accessories - aeroplane necklaces, leather cuff bracelets, knitted arm warmers, pistol brooches, Russell Leonard’s gothic teatowels, Husque bauple bowls, elegant Fink & Co water jugs, Peter Harding’s decorative Phoebe lamps and make-it models of Queenslander houses.
