Ladbrokes Derby Day

Ladbrokes Derby Day on Saturday 1 June sees prestigious Group 1 racing return to Eagle Farm Racecourse with three million-dollar races and the return of Fashions on the Field.

This fourth raceday of The Star Stradbroke Season features Queensland’s premier staying test for three-year-olds, the Group 1 Ladbrokes Queensland Derby; the Group 1 EVA Air Kingsford Smith Cup, named in the world's Top 100 Group 1 thoroughbred races in 2023; and the Group 2 Aquis Stallions BRC Sires' Produce Stakes.

Rewards are not only on offer on the track. This exciting raceday also sees the first Fashions on the Field competition with racegoers encouraged to be creative with the classic Derby Day fashion theme of ‘black and white’. The top three 'best dressed' entrants will be awarded a host of fantastic prizes.
