FOLIO BOOKS HAS CLOSED IN MAY 2021 AND IS ON THE HUNT FOR A NEW LOCATION.
There’s nothing run-of-the-mill about Folio Books, a bookshop which specializes in interesting non-fiction tomes to stimulate the grey matter.
The long-running Brisbane bookshop of some 30 years manages to pack a lot into its well lit and well laid out space, making it easy to track down books by subject and enhancing the browsing experience.
Everything from photography, design, the arts, science, politics, history and humour is covered here and it’s the kind of place to stimulate a new interest in a topic, so enticing are some of the books to be found.
Literature is well represented too – there’s nary a quality novel that doesn’t grace the shelves.
This is the perfect spot for the jaded bibliophile to reignite their passion for books.
