Science Smackdown: The Ultimate Debate is a lively, competitive debate where brilliant minds battle it out on the hottest topics in science, bringing laughter, insight, and surprises to the stage at Concert Hall, QPAC on March 29. 

Hosted by ABC Radio National’s Big Ideas presenter, Natasha Mitchell, science will be turned into an uncensored Saturday night showdown, full of wit, wisdom and wild ideas as part of this year's World Science Festival Brisbane.

Joining Natasha Mitchell will be presenters Mike Todorovic (co-host of popular medical education podcast & YouTube channel, Dr Matt and Dr Mike), Joel Gilmore (science nerd, energy expert & passionate science communicator), Ranger Stacey (television and radio personality, presenter, MC & wildlife communicator), Lily Bentley (marine biologist), Steven Oliver (who gained notoriety with ABC’s Black Comedy as a writer/actor/associate producer) and Ting Lim (comedian).

Enjoy laughs, surprises and mic drop moments as these brilliant minds go to battle on controversial topics with humour, flair, and a whole lot of friendly rivalry.
