The Dark Side of the Moon Experience

Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium

Due to popular demand, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon Planetarium Experience, at Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium, has been extended until Sep 15, 2024.

Brisbane music lovers and stargazers alike can journey around the universe with Pink Floyd’s iconic album, The Dark Side of the Moon in spectacular surround sound, combined with breath-taking views of the solar system and beyond.

Each song has a different theme; some futuristically looking forward and some a retro acknowledgment to Pink Floyd’s visual history, all relating to a time and space experience, embracing the latest state-of-the-art technology that only a Planetarium can offer.

The 42-minute, full-dome, spatial experience brings Pink Floyd's legendary album to life as viewers fly through the solar system with a mix of psychedelic art, space, and incredible music, all in the reclined seating of the planetarium.

The Dark Side of the Moon at the Planetarium is must-do immersive experience that transcends reality and takes you way beyond the realms of a 2D experience.
