Park Play

Experience the ultimate blend of sporty thrills and creative spills at Park Play, a FREE school holiday program for kids aged 5-12, nestled in the heart of Victoria Park!

Held on April 7-9 and 14-16 from 9am–1pm each day, children can engage in fun and educational hands-on workshops and activities. Each session is thoughtfully designed to spark creativity, inspire critical thinking, and nurture a passion for exploration.

Monday 7 April  

Water Colour Painting - Kids can create their own masterpiece poster to take home in this colourful creative activity that lets young artists explore and express their imagination.

Drum Workshop - Kids can explore rhythms and percussion while learning new skills in this fun drum workshop! 

Tuesday 8 April 

Obstacle Course - With circus-inspired play, kids can run, jump, and tackle exciting obstacles and have a blast conquering each challenge

Grass Head Pets - Kids can create their own grass pet with growing hair to take home in this fun hands-on activity that combines creativity and nature

Wednesday 9 April

Ball Sports -  Sporty kids can join in free sports activities, learn new tips and tricks, and have a ball! From teamwork to skill-building, it’s the perfect way to stay active

Little Builders - Kids can craft timber sculptures with safe tools and guidance, creating unique masterpieces while building skills and imagination

Monday 14 April 

Obstacle Course - Kids can run, jump, and tackle exciting obstacles in this fun circus-inspired play, testing their agility while conquering each challenge

Plant & Paint - Kids can plant a plant and design their own biodegradable pot to take home in this hands-on activity that combines creativity with nature

Tuesday 15 April 

Ball Sports - Kids can join in free ball sports activities, learn new tips and tricks, and have a blast. From teamwork to skill-building, it’s the perfect way to stay active and have fun

Craft Your Own Musical Instruments - Kids can unleash their creativity as they make their very own tambourine or maracas, while learning the joy of music and sound-making

Wednesday 16 April

Dance Workshops - Kids can dance the day away in this free, fun workshop! They’ll explore new moves, express themselves, and build confidence

Little Builders - Kids can create their own timber sculpture with safe tools and guidance in this creative activity that build skills and imagination

Bookings are not required – simply show up on the day and join in the fun. Entry via Gilchrist Avenue, Herston. All ages are welcome though activities are best enjoyed by kids aged 5-12 years old.
