New Farm

Regardless of colour and design preference it’s virtually impossible not to be inspired by the sheer exuberant beauty of this shop studio, which, via owner Anna Spiro’s blog has captured worldwide admirers including US lifestyle guru Martha Stewart.

Going where other designers fear to tread, Anna’s signature is not just her eye for beauty but her use of colour – the brighter the better. In her quest to breathe new life into old objects – chaise longues, easy chairs, lamps - she’ll use fuchsia, tangerine, aquamarine and daisy yellow, sometimes all together and it works.

The result is a homewares, furniture and design shop that is quintessentially Queensland - kitschy chic, quirky and perennially sunny.
