Logan Recycling Market

Heritage Park

From lounge chairs to lawnmowers and coffee machines to clothing, the Logan Recycling Market is a treasure trove of bargains just waiting to be discovered.

Occupying a large shed on the grounds of the Browns Plains Waste and Recycling Facility, the market is open from 10am to 5pm from Friday to Monday every week (excluding public holidays)*.

Inside, you’ll find a huge assortment of pre-loved goods sourced from Logan’s five waste and recycling facilities. If you’ve got a little bit of time and energy to devote, then you’re sure to snap up a bargain.

The selection of goods is ever changing, but items you’re likely to find on any given day include lawnmowers, whipper snippers, bicycles for the whole family, kids’ toys, outdoor furniture, fridges, books, bath tubs, office chairs, and even a collection of (sparkling clean) toilets. Other items passing through the markets include artworks, golf clubs, a hot tub, wheelchairs, and even an upright piano.

As well as picking up a bargain, you’ll also be helping out a good cause – with a portion of all profits donated to local charities.

For those needing to refuel before returning to the bargain hunt, there’s an on-site café selling a range of cold drinks, coffee and snacks. Café treats can be enjoyed at one of several tables, or in one of the comfy lounge chairs (pre-loved, of course).

Nice to know – Free parking is available in the large carpark, and trailers can be accommodated.

Need to know – Purchases can be made with either cash or EFTPOS.
