Mamma Do Vietnamese
Spring Hill
Mamma Do is bringing Mamma's authentic Vietnamese recipes to Spring Hill with delicious, budget Viet street food; from rice paper rolls and banh mi to pho noodle soup.
Perched on the corner of Little Edward and Boundary Streets, this little Vietnamese eatery is a popular lunch-time haunt offering Vietnamese favourites such as banh mi baguettes filled with pickled carrots and radish, cucumber, coriander, Mamma's special mayo and your choice of grilled pork, lemongrass chicken, sate beef or homemade tofu.
There are fresh rice paper rolls, vermicelli noodle salads and Vietnamese rice bowls topped with caramelised pork belly, stewed beef or lemongrass chicken; while Mamma's traditional Vietnamese beef noodle soup (pho) - rare beef and beef brisket slow-cooked in 12-hour broth - is a real crowd pleaser.
In addition, the menu includes small bites to eat like Viet spring rolls, grilled pork meatballs and banh bao (steamed bun with mince, sausage and egg).
Drinks range from traditional Viet drip coffee, sourced directly from Mamma's family farm, as well as home made purple rice and yoghurt smoothies and soy drinks.
