Oh Monk is a contemporary Pan Asian restaurant nestled in a tiny shopping precinct in a leafy Tarragindi street, serving up unique and delectable eats based on tradition with a creative modern twist.

Oh Monk provides a bright welcoming space with a vibrant atmosphere, where customers can relax and enjoy a menu that caters to a range of dietary requirements, including gluten-free, coeliac, vegetarian, vegan and even picky eaters.

On the menu you'll find small bites ranging from popcorn cauliflower, pork belly bao buns, shoyu-cured salmon crackers and DIY Peking duck pancakes to Murtabak Roti with fable mushroom and chicken katsu sandwiches.

Next there are slow-cooked beef ribs pawpaw, duck noodle, house-cured salmon or coconut grilled pork belly salads; and, from the wok, cashew nut or Prik King dry curry stir-fry, wok-tossed tempeh or roasted duck fried rice.

Delicious curries include slow-cooked Angus Beef Cheek Massaman, Yellow Curry of Coral Trout; Beef Ribs Panang Curry or Roasted Duck Red Curry, with a choice of garlic, coconut or jasmine rice or roti.

Good to know - The co-owner and head chef has trained in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Bangkok and worked in Brisbane's Pawpaw and Longtime restaurants.

Need to know - There is a small amount of off-street parking available. Oh Monk is currently BYO while it awaits a licence.
