Wilston Village Bar
Wilston
Wilston Village Bar is a convivial local pub-style eatery and bar located in the heart of Wilston.
Occupying the space that for years was home to Pan-Asian restaurant Citron, the bar has breathed new life into this corner of the village.
The pavilion-style interior is divided into various open-sided spaces, nooks and crannies where you can pull up a seat and enjoy a drink or bite to eat. The food menu features gourmet pub grub, including burgers (classic cheese, buttermilk fried chicken or spicy vegan chickpea) and the likes of lemon & thyme chicken schnitzel, tiger prawn and chorizo lasagne, and char-grilled Cowra lamb cutlets.
To share there's classic cheese fondue, an antipasto board and the generous Wilston share platter with arancinic, squid, hummus and more. Bar snacks (or starters) include duck and plum spring rolls, chargrilled Mooloolaba king prawns, pumpkin and mozzarella arancini, crispy fried squid and polenta chips with black truffle aioli.
Drinks-wise, there's a selection of craft beers including local lager, boutique and popular wines, spirits and low alcohol drinks.
Good to know - In the main bar area is a large screen to watch local and big sporting matches.
Need to know - Food is to be ordered at the bar.
