Updated: Jun 18, 2021

The Barra Boys is East Brisbane’s go-to for top-notch fish and chips and mouth-watering burgers.

Perched on the corner of Stanley Street East and Edgar Street, The Barra Boys is a cut-above the average fish and chip shop.

Fresh seafood is sourced daily and cooked to perfection - grilled, battered or crumbed. Customers can dine-in with plenty of al fresco seating or take-away.

Rod and Reel combos consist of cod, barramundi, snapper or salmon served with hot chips, salad, house made tartare sauce and lemon wedges.

Love seafood? Try a Tacklebox (for 1 or 2) with cod, calamari, prawn cutlet, sea scallops and chips; while families can order the Barra Boys Feast with all the above feeding four people.

For something different, there’s burgers like the Barra Boys barramundi burger, the Hook grilled chicken burger, Beef Sinker homemade beef burger and Super Yacht beef burger loaded with bacon, egg, cheese, salad, dijon mustard and bbq sauce.

Tasty sides include Greek salad, sweet potato fries, potato scallops, dim sims and Chiko rolls; while little skippers can nibble on fish bites or chicken nuggets and chips.

The Barra Boys is licensed with a selection of boutique wine and beer on hand including Mythos Greek beer.

Nice to know – Fresh fish is available for sale by the kilo. Check the display case for the daily catch.
