Dopo Eatery

Dopo Eatery is a charming foodie's cafe with a Mediterranean flavour in the heart of Milton Village, by the owners of longtime institution Tognini's Deli Cafe which previously occupied the space.

Dopo means means 'after' in Italian, and, being situated in a bustling shopping centre, it makes the perfect place to take time out and relax with a delicious meal and coffee or glass of wine.

The bright earthy-toned space offers plenty of room for diners with seating both inside and out, with a smattering of greenery adding warmth.

The all-day breakfast menu is a real treat, with dishes such as heirloom tomato bruschetta (avocado, pumpkin hummus, black olive crumb & basil oil on sourdough) and rich yolk omelette (saffron butter, bacon lardons, comté cheese, parsley sauce & focaccia).

Must-tries are the tiramisu waffle (coffee cream, espresso syrup, fresh berries & shaved chocolate) and the Dopo chilli scrambled eggs (nduja, chilli paprika oil, fraied capers, stracciatella & sourdough toast); whilst other dishes include corn fritters, Turkish eggs, wild mushroom bruschetta and breaky burger.

Lunch is available from 11.30am and includes starters like heirloom tomato carpaccio and calamari fritti, salads including Dopo Caesar, and mains such as buttermilk crumbed chicken burger, herb crusted salmon with cauliflower puree; crab and prawn ravioli; and classic Dopo burger.

As for the drinks, as well as coffee and other hot beverages, there's a small list of Oz and Italian wines by the glass or bottle, a handful of Oz and Italian beers and Aperol Spritz.

Need to know - There is free onsite parking out front or secure underground parking (entry via Wight St).
