Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

Updated: Oct 07, 2025

THIS EVENT IS NOW IN THE PAST. FOR MORE GREAT THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN AND AROUND BRISBANE, PLEASE HEAD TO OUR WHAT'S ON PAGE.

Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers will end this year's festivities on a sweet note, with the launch of its scrumptious new event, Cake Date, on October 6.

Whether you're a dessert fan or baking enthusiast, this event is your chance to have your cake and eat everyone else's too!

Attendees are asked to bring along a floral-themed cake creation to share (either home-baked or store bought), then fill a box with slices that catch your eye. Just be sure to make your cake bloom with floral inspiration.

This is one flourpowered festivity where not only is there a place for everyone at the table, but where every crumb counts and every baker shines.

And the fun doesn't stop there. Stay for a delightful picnic on the lawn outside where you can enjoy your cake collection with friends. With an onsite coffee van to provide the coffee, you bring the picnic blanket – it’s the sweetest way to wrap up your cake date!

Need to know - There are only 100 spots available on the Cake Date, so be quick and book now.
