Ashton’s The Great Australian Circus brings a world of first class family fun under the big top to Capalaba from August 15-31.

Founded in 1850 by James Henry Ashton, the Ashton Circus has endured through history—from entertaining Australian bushrangers like Ned Kelly to starring in hit blockbusters including Mad Max. Today, the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th generations of the Ashton family continue this iconic tradition, bringing joy to communities across the country.

Chantel Ashton-Rodriguez, a 6th-generation performer and managing director of Ashton Entertainment, embodies this rich legacy. Starting her circus career at just 2-years-old, Chantel, who is a a master of aerial silks, knife-throwing and trapeze, is now passing on this unique way of life to her young family.
