Happy Crab Restaurant is an Asian-flavoured seafood restaurant in Brisbane CBD specializing in crabs and crustaceans, where customers get to bib up before dining.

Dishes on offer include starters like oysters, fish, prawn or chicken tacos, sashimi scallops with yuzu ponzu sauce or Japanese salad.

Other small dishes include karaage chicken, vegetarian spring rolls, lemon pepper calamari or fried chicken set (with Korean spicy sauce, honey mustard or original sauce).

When it comes to mains, the Happy Seagaterian Bags are what this restaurant is about - large bags of cooked seafood emptied on to the table with a choice of sauce. Diners can choose from 500g of Snow Crab, Bugs or King Crab; or whole lobster, all of which come served with 6 whole prawns & 4 peeled prawns; 6 baby octopi; 8 mussels. 6 chorizo, 6 corn cob & 4 potatoes.

Diners can also order mains that come in 500g serves without the trimmings - lobsters, snow or king crab; whole or peeled prawns; Moreton Bay bugs; or half shell mussels as well as Scottish scampi.

In addition there's an all-day menu of more traditional dishes, including sushi rolls, don (sashimi, salmon or aburi salmon); Japanese curry chicken; prawn creamy rice; hot udon or chicken katsu.

Drinks-wise, there's a selection of craft beer and cider and Asahi Dry on tap and bottled; a small list of Australian wines as well as Japanese soft drinks.
Good to know - A small kids menu is available including fish and chips, karaage chicken and chips or tempura prawn and chips.
