Empire Revival

Housed in one of Brisbane’s most iconic buildings, a century old theatre in the heart of Paddington, Empire Revival is a unique retail collective that is constantly evolving.

Over 50 different small businesses operate within its walls – interior designers, jewellers, local artisans, quirky collectors and old school antique dealers.

Some of the merchants have been there for decades, while new entrepreneurs are coming in all the time, setting up shop in the 1000 square metres of collaborative space under the theatre's original star-painted roof. 

Worth checking out is the Loft Gallery space where local artists exhibit each month, and Empire Revival's incredible range of jewellery, the biggest in Brisbane, with old, new, fine, costume and everything in between.

If you are looking for something interesting and beautiful, you are guaranteed to find it here. And you’ll love the time spent hunting for it against the backdrop of the historic Plaza Theatre with its original Spanish-influenced architecture, complete with fabulous proscenium arch and Juliet balconies.
