Recovered Futures Art Exhibition
Brisbane City
A huge exhibition showcasing 270 works from more than 180 artists with lived mental health experience will take over King George Square from October 4-10.

Now in its 33rd year, the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition is back with a talented mix of emerging and established artists who will be displaying their stunning artworks, available to purchase at the event or online.

Alongside the artworks, Meanjin-based barber turned artist, Pauly Jay will be painting live daily, creating a street-art inspired masterpiece on stage that is available to purchase at it’s completion.

There will also be live music performed by Queensland Piano Competition finalists, mindful badge making, and a large blossom tree where visitors are invited to share their experiences and add to the tree to raise awareness surrounding mental health and wellbeing.

Recovered Futures Art Exhibition is curated by Nicola Holly, Galleries Manager for Griffith University, and proudly presented by Richmond Fellowship Queensland, a leading mental health organisation whose vision is a future recovered for people facing mental health challenges and social disadvantage.

Support and kick start the conversation around mental health by attending this year's Recovered Futures Art Exhibition, and have the chance to purchase some one-of-a-kind pieces from Queensland-based artists while you're there!
