Spring Lake Walk

Springfield Lakes

Updated: Jun 15, 2020

This easy grade scenic walk of around 1.5km circumnavigates the town lake, via boardwalks, parks and playgrounds and bird hides and is suitable for wheelchairs, prams, bikes and scooters.

As such there's no set place to start except by the Lakeside cafe for pre or post walk sustenance and easy car parking. Then head in either direction via the path which pretty much hugs the waterfront all the way. Along the way are offshoots which connect to other Springfield parks, with the idea that each little community cluster of homes is connected to each other and the town centre by walking/bicycle paths.
