The Ginyard

Eukey, Granite Belt

Updated: Apr 18, 2024

The Ginyard is a small-batch distillery and cellar door, located in the Southern Downs and Granite Belt region, offering a range of premium, handcrafted gins.

A labour of love for owners, Nicole Jackson and Phil Gordge, The Ginyard features a light-filled, modern cellar door overlooking the vineyard, where visitors can sample an array of boutique, distilled spirits and signature cocktails.

Showcasing seasonal local ingredients such as peaches, citrus, rhubarb and feijoa, The Ginyard grows their own botanicals where they can. This includes a huge range of fruit, spices, herbs, florals, and shiraz grapes for their extremely popular shiraz gin.

The Ginyard's goal is to create a memorable craft spirit, offering the perfect balance of flavours, from juniper and coriander, to more gentle florals, the distillery's signature lemon lime and basil, or native Australian flavours - think lemon myrtle and pepper berries - there's a spirit to suit all palates.

The Ginyard is open Saturdays for spirit tastings, a relaxed lunch, afternoon cocktail, or paired with a woodfired pizza while you take in the beautiful surrounds. You can also book by appointment on Fridays and Saturdays.

Nice to know - The Ginyard’s ethos reflects sustainable practices, which includes sourcing locally, but also using solar power and rainwater exclusively for distillation.
