Paddington

Nestled in a historic row of shops on Latrobe Terrace in Paddington, Frank's Social Club is a charming deli cafe and wine bar.

The character-filled space features exposed brick and original timber flooring, with seating provided in the front room, a more intimate back room, and on the footpath or in the cosy back courtyard garden, where pooches can join their owners.

During the day, the deli cafe offers locally roasted Bear Bones coffee, along with delicious gourmet toasties, including a classic Ham & Cheese, Ruben-esque (pastrami, dijon, aioli, cornichons, sauerkraut, and manchego cheese) and Bombay Club (rosemary roast potatoes, beetroot, pickled onion and green chutney).

Doubling as a neighbourhood wine bar after dark, patrons can share boards piled with Charcuterie (prosciutto, sopressa, ham off the bone, sundried tomato pesto, hummus, pickled vegetables, toasted sourdough and crackers) and Cheese (blue cheese, manchego, burrata, fruit and nuts, and more).

There's also a Vegan share board, as well as small plates such as Burrata (burrata, dukkah, pistachios and garlic toasted sourdough), marinated olives, and falafels served with hummus and paprika.

The carefully curated wine listed features an array of sparkling, white, red and rosé wines, served along with beer on tap and a selection of cocktails like espresso martinis, mojitos, and margaritas including a pomegranate marg made with Corazon Blanco tequila, triple sec, pomegranate juice and lime.
