Scarborough Beach
Scarborough
Of the string of little bay beaches that line the Redcliffe Peninsula, Scarborough on the far northern tip would have to be the prettiest.
Bordered by a strip of majestic Norfolk Pines and with an enchanting sand-based children’s park that is railway themed at one end and pirate themed at the other along with a famed grove of cottonwood trees for climbing, it also happens to be family heaven.
Across the quiet road from the park, a bohemian little shopping village is home to a number of cafes and coffee lounges and a bright nautical themed fish shop.
Meantime its sandy protected bay is a safe swimming spot for young and old.
