Margate Beach

Margate

Updated: Oct 18, 2025

Only a short hike from Redcliffe proper, Margate Beach is a charming English style ribbon of beach with calm surf ideal for paddling.

To the southern end is a rocky cove overlooked by treed parklands of Scotts Point and a quaint 1930s bathing pavilion, while middle sections of it are bordered by a well-maintained boardwalk with viewing benches and spacious picnic shelters jutting out over the sand.
