This fabulous 10-day celebration offers a captivating lineup of events and experiences in Ipswich, perfect for curious minds and heritage lovers alike.

Great Places of Ipswich will open the doors to some of the city’s most significant heritage sites rarely accessible to the public, on Saturday 13 September. Explore remarkable buildings including exclusive access to the historic Great Hall at Ipswich Grammar School.

Enter an era where dance music was full of glorious melodies and celebrate Ipswich history through dance at The Limestone Frolic on Friday 5 September.

Or dress for a nostalgic night of 1940s fun and frivolity with The Baker’s Ball – a progressive dinner dance through Marburg on Saturday 13 September.

For more hands-on history and a great way to celebrate Father’s Day, check out the Steam & Smoke BBQ on Saturday 7 September at Queensland Museum Rail Workshops. Enjoy live music, smoked meats, artisan demonstrations, vintage vehicles, a spectacular steam train and more!
