Owned by mother-daughter duo, Helen and Marissa Kentrotis, Pablo's is a family-affair with recipes passed down for generations.

Although the deli cafe is thoroughly modern with a cream colour scheme and curved banquette seating along the floor-to-ceiling windows, the inspiration for Pablo's came from Yiayia's kitchen - a warm, welcoming space where families and friends could get together to enjoy a meal or a glass of wine or two.

The word yiayia (Greek grandmother) is synonymous with comfort food, and the menu does not disappoint offering an array of delicious, home-style fare.

The all-day brunch menu ranges from pistachio and kale pesto fried eggs, and herby avocado with feta, mint and dill, to shakshuka (Middle Eastern baked eggs) and chai and nut ricotta hotcakes with ice-cream or Greek yoghurt and orange cinnamon syrup.

Lunch options include ham and cheese croissants, sandwiches and soup, as well as traditional Greek fare like spanakopita, spanakorizo, keftedes, pastitsio and lemon potatoes.

Meanwhile, sweet tooths will be satiated with the selection of treats on offer including house-made baklava, cakes, cookies and muffins, with additional baked goods provided by Albion's Doughcraft Bakery

Coffee on pour is supplied by boutique coffee outfit Good Bean, served along with single origin, batch brew, cold brew, chai, hot chocolate, and a selection of teas from Love Tea.

Pablo's is also licensed, offering local craft beer and Australian wines from small producers. Bottles of boutique wine can also be purchased to take home, with timber shelves lined with bottles of wine, nestled alongside a selection of artisanal pantry staples such as jam, honey, dukkah, chilli olive tapenade, pickles, peanut butter, smoked salt and more.
