Babylon Garden is a stunning al fresco Mediterranean-style bar, cascading over 2 levels in a prime waterfront location in Brisbane's CBD.

Spread over 645sqm, the stunning architect-designed bar features palm trees, green marble tabletops, pale brick walls and a 10-metre brass bar, with white timber furniture and leather banquettes.

With stunning Story Bridge views and a Levantine-inspired food and cocktail menu in line with its sibling restaurant Babylon (which opened in late 2022), Babylon Garden is a hot inner city destination unto itself.

Meze dominates the food menu, which has been developed by Babylon Brisbane’s Head Chef Ferdinand Sari in collaboration with sister venue Babylon Sydney’s Head Chef Robert Taylor.

Shared snacks include Kadinbudu (spiced beef, kashar cheese and rice balls with muhamarra); crispy chicken wings with Baharat spice, harissa and labneh; homemade falafel with tahini sauce, dukkah; lamb gozleme with garlic labneh and iskender sauce; pulled chicken pita with amber, toum, sumac, onions and pickles and pumpkin kebab with coriander, muhammara and Aleppo chilli.

Signature cocktails include Semiramis’ Throne, made with Tanqueray Sevilla, mastic liqueur, apricot, lemon, falernum and orange blossom and Devine Levanthyme which combines Limoncello with lemon gin, thyme, sugar and egg white.

Meanwhile the Babylon Twist section of the menu offers a spin on classics cocktails, such as Turkish Espresso Martini with Turkish coffee and cardamom-infused Metaxa 7, chocolate liqueur, orgeat and cold brew.

The wine list features mostly Australian wines, by the glass or bottle, as well as a smattering of  French and Turkish wines, Lebanese rose, Australian and Lebanese sparking and french champagne including a magnum of Tattinger Brut.
