Mista Boo Sushi & Izakaya
Eight Mile Plains
Mista Boo at Warrigal Square is a contemporary pink neon-lit sushi train and izakaya bar offering a range of authentic Japanese fare.
Located in the popular southside shopping centre at Eight Mile Plains, Mista Boo provides an intimate dining experience with booths set around the chic, industrial-style restaurant, as well as seating at the sushi bar, where brightly-coloured plates of Japanese delicacies whiz past.
Mista Boo offers an array of sushi including norimaki rolls, nigiri, aburi, temaki (handmade to resemble ice-cream cones), sushi that looks like tiny ships (made by wrapping a wide strip of nori around a rice ball, filled with various ingredients) and fresh sashimi.
There's something for all sushi lovers, with an abundance of seafood - think salmon, tuna, kingfish, kanikama (crab sticks), lobster, scallop and prawn - plus wagyu beef, unagi (eel), karaage chicken, panko prawn, tempura vegetables, avocado and tobiko.
Mista Boo's menu also boasts a selection of snacks and side dishes like deep-fried dim sum, spring rolls and gyoza, as well as agedashi tofu, edamame, seawood salad and miso soup, plus more substantial dishes: udon noodle soups, yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), Japanese curry, and donburi rice bowls topped with the likes of chicken katsu, karaage chicken, teriyaki beef, spicy pork, or salmon.
After 5pm, an izakaya menu is available, offering delectable dishes like beef tataki, sukhoe (sliced octopus), tako wasabi, cooked fish roe with avocado, eggplant chips drizzled with housemade teriyaki sauce, mixed tempura skewers, mixed sashimi, and fish cake soup with an assortment of fish balls, fish cakes, deep-fried tofu, fresh vegetables and more simmered in broth at your table.
Mista Boo is fully licensed with a concise wine list and imported beer, plus premium Japanese soju, umeshu and saké.
Nice to know - Mista Boo also has a sushi drive-thru in Logan Central offering a range of fresh sushi and more.
