YABABA HAS CLOSED IN JULY 2023.

Yababa is a vegan friendly Middle Eastern eatery serving up authentic premise-made cuisine in the heart of Rosalie Village.

Don't be fooled by the bright fast-food style signage, for this place is the real deal.

Having previously occupied a shop in Rosalie Village as an Israeli vegan restaurant, Yababa has been reincarnated in a larger space with an onsite bakery and an expanded menu that also includes meat dishes.

Food is available for dine in or takeaway, with seating outside on the terrace overlooking the street or inside the gleaming brightly lit interior.

The menu offers a choice of plant-or meat-based versions of the dishes, which come as a stuffed pita (baked daily onsite), in a bowl or on a plate with choices like falafel, shawarma, patties, kebab or Jerusalem mix (highly recommended) accompanied by delicious salads and dips.

There's also a choice of memulaim (delectable rice-stuffed capsicum in tomato sauce), musaka (eggplant and tomato with meat option) and pizzas as well as shakshuka (spice baked eggs) and, on rainy or cold days, soup of the day.

Need to know - Yababa is BYO , with the Wine Experience bottle shop conveniently located across the road. A limited amount of on-street parking is available nearby.
