Phat Greens
Stafford
PHAT GREENS HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Phat Greens brings the fresh flavours of Asia to Stafford with a delicious range of banh mi, bao, and bowls of goodness.
Located alongside its siblings Oh Boy, Bok Choy! and Miss Sophia’s Gelateria on Stafford Road, the tiny take-away is open daily dishing up wholesome fare for lunch and dinner.
The Banh Mi menu, available from 11am to 5pm, includes your choice of kombucha glazed BBQ pork, coconut and kaffir lime marinated chicken, marinated grilled beef, or five spice grilled tofu, served on a fresh baguette with pickled carrot, cucumber, coriander, mushroom pate and house made smoked sriracha.
After 5pm, bahn mis are replaced with bao buns stuffed with tasty fillings such as sticky chilli chicken, BBQ pork, grilled beef or grilled tofu.
Healthy alternatives include bowls brimming with colourful veggies, coconut rice or vermicelli noodles like the Green Papaya Bowl (green papaya, snow peas, pickled carrots, red cabbage, cucumber, coriander, crispy shallots and citrusy tamarind dressing) or Quinoa Bowl (roasted pumpkin, shredded kale, cucumber, red pepper, radish, pickled pink onion, soy chickpeas, quinoa and spiced cashew dressing).
In addition, there's a selection of ready-made rice paper rolls and vibrant salads to take-away, as well as corn riblets, crunchy eggplant chips, and phat fries.
Good to know - There are a few tables provided out front of Phat Greens where customers can enjoy their Asian-inspired eats.
